I think forgiveness is a rather contrived emotion. I've never understood how some people forever make excuses for grown adults behaving in a ridiculous manner such as the antics of the Kennedy clan or the daily grind by people that go out of their way to be hurtful.

The comprehension you have of your existence and your own life is your most basic and important value. The person who takes your life no longer has any value and there is no upside studying such an individual as other posters here have previously suggested. We live in a society where the individual has lots of rights but one where the sanctity of the individual is not sacred.

Revulsion and removal is the only sane way of dealing with people like Dahmer and I really don't care if the removal is by lethal injection or in a football stadium with a sharp axe.
