You and Moore are flogging a dead horse. The facts are that the Bush Administration didn't help Enron as much as the previous Administration did. Despite Enron's strong support of the Kyoto Accords, the Bush Administration (unlike the previous Administration) refused to back Kyoto. Despite having an input on the Bush Administration's choices for the FERC, the first vote of the Bush FERC Appointees made, were for tight price caps to the wholesale electricity (all FERC members till late May 2001, were appointed by the Previous President). Despite an attempt from a former Secretary of the Treasury (a Democrat) to save Enron, the Bush Administration did not rescue the Company.
