Why would we need bodies if we are to be spiritual? Does God the Father have a body? Isn't Christ the image of the invisible God?

I have to say, I've never had this exact discussion before. It's interesting to say the least.

Your belief that Christ reigns forever is based on the translation of aions of the aions being eternal. Aions are a period or interval. The kingdom will have no end, but Christ will hand it over to the Father after He (Christ) perfects it.
