I know that the scripture say that Christ "hands" over
the kingdom to the Father..

- but -

I think it should be taken with a grain of salt.

Christ is a Priest Forever - Our Priest Forever.

Also Christ is the Husband - the saved are the bride.

The bride is always subject to her husband.

I do not see Christ stepping down - but building up.

Christ did nto take a step down by being a servant to all.

Same concept I think.

I do not believe Christ is diminished by serving the Father
and "handing over" the kingdom.

1 Corinthians 15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him,
then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him
that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

In our carnal world - submitting is lowering oneself.

In God's kingdom submitting is to take a step up.

Luke 22:25 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles
exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority
upon them are called benefactors.
26 But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you,
let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.

"Benefactors" appears only here in the scriptures.

The word in Greek means to be excelling or doing well I believe.

To attempt to "Lord Over" others in the spiritual realm is to not do well.

I think we need to look at Christ "giving up or handing over"
in the spiritual light we have been given and not the light of this world.
