Despite all the whining from the lefties, I agree that USA is STILL the land of opportunity. That's why I moved here and that's why I stayed. Heck, even if I lost my job tomorrow, there are MANY things I could go do to make some income. Maybe not as much as I make now, but enough to lead a decent life. Even an average income here is much better than what most people in the rest of the world get. I know, I've been to many countries and have seen how the vast majority live. What's considered poverty here would be middle class living in many countries.
