<<I figured you would....>>

... let us just say it would be highly unlikely that you would find me patrolling the streets of Tikrit, surveying the mountains in Afghanistan, or wandering through the alleyways of Liberia :0)

On BFLY, given that I did Message 19467520 <<November 5th, 2003>> as I did with MTEX, I find it not in me to now buy back at 4.90 ... it is analogous to revisiting ex-girlfriend, as in possibly bad idea. May the Force be with you, and besides, a bull market corrects all mistakes except the last mistake ;0)

Hello Pezz, Report:
As there is talk of inflation in the mainstream news, and the gold bulls are enthusiastically charging forth into the USD breach, I figured I should let them go ahead, and clear the mine fields. I closed a bunch of short Put positions on AEM and NEM as follows:

(a) Covered short AEM Dec Put strike 12.5 at 0.95, recognizing a profit of 1.05/shr Message 19468205 <<November 5th, 2003>>. This trade is different from other trades because I had courageously shorted AEM 12.5 puts when the underlying shares were trading at 10.78/shr :0)

(b) Covered short NEM Dec Put strike 42.5 at 0.15/shr, recognizing a profit of 0.80/shr Message 19521990 <<November 20th, 2003>>

(c) Covered short NEM January Put strike 42.5 at 0.45/shr, recognizing a profit of 1.05/shr Message 19532673 <<November 24th, 2003>>

(d) Covered short NEM January Put strike 45 at 0.90/shr, recognizing a profit of 1.70/shr Message 19532673 <<November 24th, 2003>>

(e) Covered short NEM March Put strike 40 at 0.80/shr, recognizing a profit of 0.95/shr Message 19521990 <<November 20th, 2003>>

The NEM ATM achamchen.com works just fine, thanks to maestro Greensputin and professor BurnAndKaput :0)

I was going to turn right around and concentrate massive forces to attack the NEM January 2005 Put strike 40 position, but decided to take a rest and fight another day instead. NEM, the panic room, may well burn down with the rest of the house, and so raiding it later may prove to be more rewarding.
