Actually Clinton trained the hijackers with Saddam and the French. They were all in it together. They planned 9-11 to ruin Bush and make the US a communist state run by married gay men. But it backfired because Bush is such a bold moral leader.

Bush didn't need proof to invade Iraq, just a suspicion and a fearful public.

I'm surprised that you put more weight in a Iraqi defector than you do Mr. Wilson, who was hand picked to go to Africa to check out the story, and who's wife was a CIA operative in the WMD area.

Talk about a predisposition!

I looked at the photo, and came to the conclusion that it is not a 707. Nor is it a 727. The wings are not right for either one. But it is some kind of jet fuselage. It seems to me that if this guy was credible, he would at least know the type of airplane it was.

As for Saddam's WMD, we really didn't know what he had. He stated that they were destroyed. We still have not found any evidence of WMD and that appears to be consistent with the latest weapons inspectors estimates as well.

If it was 2 defectors than that is news to me. In fact the defector story that you posted was news to me. But I have not been impressed with Chalabi and the other defectors who said what ever they thought the Bush administration wanted to hear. They have been shown to be without any credibility.

I remain a skeptic that Saddam had something to do with 9-11. I also find it a bit laughable that the terrorists would even need or want to train in a hulking fuselage in the desert. Can you imagine the condition of the inside of that plane? Can you imagine the temperature inside the plane with the sun beating down on it all day? They can train for all that stuff in a building or a cave. They don't need a hulk.

I'm open to evidence about all these "after the fact reasons for going to war", and I think it's important, but so far all we have seen are half truths, lies and innuendo. What the American people want to know is why the president took us to war in the urgent manner that he did. The fact that Saddam was a tyrant is not reason enough for me to say that the threat was imminent.
