Interesting Brian. I've also looked at the Acts 2:34 verse in relation to the resurrection. It would seem that in your opinion, there were no christians on earth after ad 70 until God convicted someone?? later. If all the dead in Christ and all those who were living were caught up to Him, there would be none left anywhere on earth. I always thought that Revelation was written after ad 90, but if you are correct it would have to have been written before ad 70. Else John the Revelator would not have been around to write it

So we have concrete evidence from scripture that no one went to heaven before the cross. (only the went to paradise or hades - both under the earth - place of rest or sleep)

Agreed. Hades simply means "the unseen or the imperceptible". "The dead know not anything".

Christ made the sacrifice - entered the true holy of holies not made with hands - returned again to the people to pronounce their forgiveness and the acceptance of the sacrifice and took His bride from the earth and from beneath the earth and turned the kingdom over to the Father.

This is a point of disagreement. Christ will turn the kingdom over to the Father only after He perfects it, and His final act of perfection (the abolition of death) will end the ages. Hebrews 9:26 since then He must often be suffering from the disruption of the world, yet now once, at the conclusion of the eons (or ages)
for the repudiation of sin through His sacrifice is He manifest.

Sin must be destroyed or abolished just before death is abolished. Because 1 Cor 15:26 tells us that death is the final enemy to be defeated. This will end the ages. Christ has yet to subject all will, sovereignty etc.. Many things are not yet subjected. If we are, as you say, in the new heaven and earth and the gospel age, Christ has not finished perfecting His kingdom and has not handed it over the Father yet because when He does, all of the ages will end. (IMHO!!):)

I think it comes down to how one views the trinity.

My mind can't grasp the concept.

Have a good weekend Brian.
