There is nothing "wrong" with that picture. Sorry if I did not respond to it before.

Now, can a 'b' be impulsive? No. Could your count be right? I suppose it could, but that 'b' of yours was awfully deep and marked a significant low -- not the sort of thing one associates with a 'b'.

The "big C" out of the March low is the most talked about feature of the count I have been following for a long time. That "big C" goes with the 'A' up out of the October low and the 'B' down out of the Dec high. The point I made yesterday was that all of that A-B-C could itself be just an '[A]' move. If that is the case, we'd see a messy '[B]' down for 9 months at least, then a '[C]' up that would likely set new highs again.

It doesn't matter to a "trader". If one shorts what one thinks is the end of a correction, be it the end of the A-B-C that is the complete bear market interlude or the end of only an A-B-C that is an '[A]' wave, it matters not as it will be a very successful short. One will only have to start worrying about which is in control many months later.

BTW, even under your count one would not need to worry for a few months, as you'd be shorting the top of a '3'.
