that article is from Boston, not where I am. I pulled it up because Bill, on the Bush thread, said essentially the same thing you are saying that "things are great". Statistics don't bear that out of course. The ones really taking the hit are the paralegals, human resources, accountants etc. who are being replaced en-masse. But it is difficult to find articles on the web about those groups, they usually focus on tech. Bottom line- this is the giant sucking sound Perot warned about and it would be nice if somebody in the wh acted like they had a clue, even if they really don't, especially since economists on CNBC and elsewhere were predicting this in 2000.
