and I just don't think George H.W. Bush would be that sloppy. Nor that Machievellian. I think if it is true, and I'm about half convinced it is, then it was another Cheney et.al. plan. He knew he had great influence over the Bushes and Cheney has always been interested in keeping his actions quiet. The Bushes have always been good front men for the schemes of others. The scheme didn't work however, and whether that was because Poppy was the better man or Cheney handn't figured out all the angles, I don't know. TP
