California would be much better off if some of these companies who only have HQ here and most support staff in India, would relocate there.

You might have gotten your wish if Davis was still in the chair.

U.S. is THE consumer market of the world. Other countries should be paying us for privilege of selling their products here. Warren Buffett says that many U.S. corporations are sellling the country out from under our feet. See his interview at Fortune Mag website.
Once G.E., Msft, Bank of America(Ha!), Dell, etc. have eliminated the U.S. middle class with outsourcing, who will buy their products?
Lou Dobb's (CNN) reports every evening re outsourcing & its effects. Last night he started to recite list of worst offending American companies. That list is available the following day at CNN website. He will continue broadcasting the company names each evening as viewers report those disloyal, greedy corporations to him. He first double checks to be sure the business is indeed guilty of selling out to slave wage labor. The past few wks we've started eliminating those American cos plus foreign made products from our holiday shopping list as well as everyday purchases. We now exclusively support loyal American companies with our purchasing power and I'm ready to nominate Lou Dobbs for Pres in 2004:)
