I do not mean "il caffe' corretto con grappa" -a spiritual experience if drank in the right place, at the right time with the right type of grappa that does not get exported.

even as a less than spiritual experience, in the right back streets of the right north italian town this already struck me as the only fully deserved usage i have ever encountered of the word 'correct'...

Annamaria - Hi! Late answer. Stayed in bed this weekend with the aftermath of the flu @#$%$#@.

What place to look for? I guess you mean (for us, non USD based traders) which other places to look for?
I find our European sources very national, limited in scope, not very litterate in options or derivatives. Poor access to derivatives (even if you don't trade derivatives, volumes traded are indicative). Far from "global" views <ng>.

Pure currencies analysis (short term trading, extended somewhat to equities) at saxobank.com (have to register, but they are not intrusive).

For the rest.... some info from the Financial Times or the (local) Reuters sites.

IMHO, if you had to chose one only letter: Uncle Harry hsletter.com
Not cheap ($327/year) but if I start to add up some subscriptions I am cancelling ... I should have my budget freed.

I have to join you in the question:
Any suggestions? Is anyone else interested in this topic?

hi anna:

of course, i guess the correct translation is not that this is the correct coffee, but that it has been corrected. still, i prefer my more amoral intepretation...:-)

re semi-professional currency speculation: i'm not sure if this is exactly what you are thinking of, but i find steve saville's letter very useful. currencies are one of his three main focuses, and he regularly reviews how they impact other trades: this week's edition, for instance, reviewed this year's S&P in dollars and in euros, the A$ versus the euro, and POG in terms of SA rand.

the fundamental analysis is sometimes brief, but always to the point, and the charts provide a useful perspective on other analysts' prognostications who rely on 'raw' indexes or prices, rather than the ratios between them.

i have never subscribed to the richebacher letter, but i believe currency is a large part of his focus too.

good wishes,
peter
