Would the US and Euro community ever consider a common currency?

Call it the (Soft Landing) "Duro"? Lets the world move out of US holdings in stages. OPEC could price oil in "Duros", Asia could exchange some of their treasuries to something with better backing, US could get off the hook for their dollars sloshing around, Euro-land could stimulate and breach the stability treaty without anybody noticing.

Everybody wins, LOL.

Good Morning Jay,
The big handed guy <g> has a question. I have never played with options or calls or puts. Please explain how these work:

<(g) Short ABX puts and refrain from doing same with NEM puts
(h) Remain true to existing shorted NEM covered calls>

Are you "betting" that ABX goes down and NEM prices rises or the other way around?
Thanks,
Tom
PS:Hope you are getting in the festive holiday mood. Tree? Lights? Shopping for loved ones?

<<< Short ABX puts >>>
Aren't you afraid that high POG may bankrupt ABX?
