I imagine after thousands of years of civilization many Chinese wish to be free. Free to be critical of their communist government or free to say what they want on the internet. Is Taiwan the scapegoat for the Chinese oppressed similar to the Arabs blaming the Jews and Westerners for all their shortcomings? It is interesting to see so many Chinese so willing to bring back their free siblings who escaped from oppression and poverty to prosperity.
