I've posted repeatedly that I'm not a major Bush supporter. I'm having a hard time coming up with an alternative though. I haven't found any of the candidates, at least the ones with a chance of winning, doing much besides being critical.

I agree with you in that there needs to be a comprehensive plan and the plan needs to have a moral base and one that can be implemented clearly.

It's real easy to sit back and be critical. As I've also often posted, there is no doubt in my mind that Clinton-Gore would be virtually exactly at the same point, given the same fact pattern and analysis of information at hand.

If you heard Hillary on Meet the Press this weekend, I think you would agree. Until pressed to comment on Bush, she was virtually 100% in agreement. It was almost as if she had to pinch herself to be critical.

I was actually impressed with her performance. But as I analyzed what she said, if I took away the forced criticisms, she could have been Condaleeza Rice talking.
