I can see, you have been completely brainwashed by the 50+ years of anti-Communist and demonizing China propaganda in the US, so I am not even going to comment on your first point.

NK -- let's not forget it becomes an issue because of Bush included NK in the "Axises of Evil". If he were a little smarter, this would not be an important issue at all.

"purchases of U.S. gov't debt" -- China does it for its own purpose, not because of the US interest. So I would not label it as "cooperation".

"Trade barriers" -- in principle, China can only open its market little by little, whether the US likes it or not. In practice, what China wants to buy from the US, the US won't sell, just like Wen Jiabao said, the US cannot ask China to sit on the airplane (means the US only sell civil airplane to China) and eat soybean (means the US only sell agricultural product) all the time. So trade barriers are on BOTH sides, not JUST on China's side.
