I think what should have been done was an entire recount of the state of Florida. Elections are subject to recounts all the time. Given that the Governor of Florida was the monkey's brother, and that the AG was Catherine Harris, even this would have stunk, but it would have been better than what occurred. Maybe we should have taken Bermuda's offer to supervise another election! I'd have been happier with a coin flip.

All that said though, I, and most Americans accepted Bush as president, albeit one without ANY mandate. An unprovoked war is not what we wanted.

Did you know that the Republicans had ALL THE PAPERS READY for an appeal to the Supreme Court to challenge the legality of the electoral college if W had lost the electoral vote but won the popular vote.

So tell us...if they had done that....would you STILL say the things you just said about that? NO you would not. What would that make you?....
