To get the congressional vote for war, they basically promised them they'd take the moderate approach, through the Un and with allies.

Both of which he did. He got the UN to issue an "or else" resolution to Saddam and gave inspections a chance to work, but Saddam did not comply - according to the inspectors, not Bush. In Kerry's 10/9 floor speech, he explicitly stated that UN authorization for an invasion was not necessary, only that he wanted Bush to try. Bush did that, but it is clear to everyone who was paying attention that France would NEVER vote to authorize force. In fact they said so and you're a fool if you think their promised veto had anything to do with a lack of evidence or "giving inspections more time."

Kerry also wanted Bush to only take action with an international coalition - he did that too. By the time the war started, Bush had some 45 countries in the coalition, including those representing the majority of the population of Europe.

Notice the deceptive tone. Using the UN sppeches [sic] to placate congress.

That's rich. Yeah, he "deceived" congress by going to the UN and saying EXACTLY where he stood on Iraq and asking for their support. How deceptive! Absolutely shocking! I'd LOL, but you really disgust me, American Spinster.
