Capture of Saddam is going to cause Iraq resistance to ramp up. All that was stopping a lot of Iraqi was the fear that a successful campaign against the Americans would lead to the return of Saddam. With him now out of the picture (assuming news reports are accurate), the anti-Saddam element will now engage.
If there is a good sell off in gold, I'm buying.

I had been expecting a final blowoff rally later this month after a correction next week. A blowoff without an correction probably will top well before my original mid-January target date.

Interesting to see how the markets react if the Iraq insurgency continues or even intensifies despite the capture.
