Thanks.
Yeah I don't follow that thread typically, just took John's bait hook line and sinker... but I'm a bit familiar with most of the posters so I kinda knew what I might be gettin' into. My first reaction was well likely the worst way to address the issue and I'd not have been surprised to have been slammed for it.

I actually wrote the second then left it for while to chill. I toned it down a bit thinking Joe Friday as much as possible. Lindybill was quite accommodating despite my initial sortie although I guess the invite had a certain 'spider to the fly' feel to it. ;o) That type of article does no intelligent person service, much like this post Message 19593193.

Kastel

Not that I expect an answer, but I'm wondering if you see the irony of this:

The current puba of the " Pros "...LOL! thread bans anyone who challenges their myopic views of the world.

Yes, LindyBill has banned me from his right wing thread, a reasonable choice, since he hopes to be unchallenged.

But what I'm curious about is how a Canadian like you views the matter of free speech. You see here in the U.S.A. we have a tradition of free speech that we expect people like LindyBill to violate. Here let me introduce you to the concept:

U.S. Constitution: Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

How is it,considering your situation as a foreigner, you seem to have taken it upon yourself to set yourself up as a censor and arbiter on the "Howard Dean" thread? You fail to have the courtesy to respond to my PM about why you've had your little fit of pique, and fail to suitably serve as host of that thread, IMHO.

Can you explain yourself? What is your unseemly (and ironic) censorship all about, sir? Are you an agent provocateur on a satanic mission from Karl Rove? Are you simply an effete snob who refuses to confront reality when it becomes too gritty? What is your position, sir?
