Kodiak - I agree - Sadam must stand trial. All of those who had any sympathy for the man will have to hang their heads. Just think - the Ayatollahs in Iran have to be seeing ghosts - and fearing for their future. How many of them would be guilty in a court of world law?

OT: I really wish he'd tried to fight so they woulda had to kill him, and be done with it. Now you have the potential of other hostages being taken, etc. Actually the best thing woulda been a fate such as what happened to Mussolini (Italian dictator in WWII that ended up being hung on a meat hook by his own people!).

It will be interesting to see what reaction the oil markets have to this, I guess we'll get our first clue when access opens tonight. BTW, when does it open?

I know this is unrealistic, but I wish Bush would use this as an excuse to declare total victory in Iraq and get our troops the hell outta there. It has been extremely frustrating to see story after story of those guys getting picked off one by one, with no real enemy to fight most of the time.
