Well I think one of the obvious things that Jesus was to supposed to have done , was to embrace the sick and afflicted that were normally shunned and segregated . As we have all found out more recently in modern times , whether a person has some incurable disorder (like Elect) , an physical handicap , or an incurable disease like aids , they are still very much human beings and still with their minds can embrace life as well as the next person. Lifeis too great an experience for people to be shut out , and from the ones of us that have suffered intense physical afflictions and infirmities , we get our greatest stories and examples of love & courage and indominitable spirit. I think Jesus may have been somewhat humbled by the suffering some endured in his day , that were also shunned and avoided and segregated off . They must have given him much strength by example , while the priests had little compassion for them nor would be found ministering to them. I equate God with Life myself , so much to be awed by ...like that little 13yr old girl in Hawaii recently that had her arm taken off just beneath the shoulder in a shark attack some weeks ago , and there she is back up surfing 30 days later ...no complaining, still smiling. Holy spirit? I like to just call it Life itself , a wonderous thing . Buddha was completely aware of all this suffering too . Love of your enemy , yourself & the ugly , that's true test of love. And embracing --->All Life. ..for it all is suffering . Heaven is nowhere but here...in our memory , our hearts , and bodies and minds.And we can always make heaven a little better, always .
