Just saw Elizabeth Wedgewood interviewed by cnn or cnbc. She said it would take 3 or 4 months for a prosecution to prepare a trial - marshal evidence, examine representative witnesses, etc. It's sort of what I guessed. She doesn't see any big problems with the Iraqis doing it. Seems to think it's a good thing they do it. I do too. After all, what people did he commit crimes against? Not a big deal in my view. Very big deal for the Iraqis. Don't really see why anyone else should think they have a say in the matter at all.
