Sigh
you are so right.
But I'm really tired of it. I'd like some rational prioritizing of risks and rewards. Isn't there ANYONE out there who can do that? Our government is awash with silly wasteful programs that are little more than payola for fat companies getting ever fatter. I'm just tired of it, really really tired of it.

I'd like to see a WAR on STUPIDITY- and I'd like to see a logical evaluation of the greatest risks that face America. Terrorism isn't one of them. Terrorism in this country has killed very few people (and that's including our domestic terrorists like Mc Veigh)- so a war on terror should probably only be fought after a war on highway safety, a war on obesity, a war on couch potatoes, and a war on all the other crap that actually kills a majority of Americans.

And Iraq? Don't get me started on the wastefulness of that odyssey of the moronic.

Will we ever get a rational prioritization?
