If the world is safer, then the USA is safer, if you can't see that, then obviously you are of too low intelligence to continue a discourse with. Are you a Pat Buchanan supporter and think we should ignore the rest of the world? Very short sighted attitude, IMO. USA is a member of many multinational organizations who are supposed to help make the world safer. Are you in favor of us quitting the UN and NATO, for example?
