Libya to dismantle WMD programme breakingnews.iol.ie Libya's leader Colonel Gaddafi has confirmed that his country in the past sought to develop weapons of mass destruction, but has now declared his intention to dismantle this programme completely, the British government said tonight. Downing Street said the move follows discussions over the last nine months between Libya, the United States and the UK.

The left and the altruism gig. It's leftover theocratism. They want us to have pure souls and minds. Just can't get over that old urge to meddle with folks' souls and minds. Bob Herbert says we should not amuse ourselves because it distracts us from the contemplation of others' suffering and the islamofascist mullahs say folk must not listen to music because it distracts them from contemplation of god.
