I'm sorry you see my posts that way. I write them sincerely, and am doing the best I can. I wonder if your resorting to insult is a result of something inappropriate in my posts on this political discussion thread, or because of the content of the views I'm expressing. Was your hostility elicited because my reply was unresponsive to your comment? I just looked at again at what I wrote, and I think it's responsive and clear. I wish you would reply to the substance of my post to you as conscientiously.

LindyBill, this is a moderated thread, and I am of course aware that if you don't like what I write here, you have the ability to silence me with a click. I hope you won't. Unless of course I post inappropriately. Sometimes, I've noticed, people feel "provoked" by being disagreed with, especially effectively disagreed with, on a subject dear to their hearts.
