the point is that to claim that the rich have the highest tax burden is really lame. And anyone who has had passive income of over 500K in a year as many did in the 90s, knows what kind of taxes they paid on that income vs the taxes paid on a 100K salary. Middle income wageearners are the most grossly taxed group. Of course the right tries to muddy the waters with arguments along the line of "wages over xxx pay high taxes", but as we all know most wealthy folks don't make WAGES of 500K-1 million per year. The overtaxation of wages is a travesty.
