It all boils down to personal happiness and if cannibals are happy basting missionaries in big pots of boiling water I say more power to them. If you replace a ruler who rules by fear be prepared to rule by fear but to think we are somehow better because we are more "rational" is morally wrong.

We're uncomfortable when we see images of starving people on television in Africa and immediately ship food over and when that band aid fails we send family planners over. The history and fact is those cycles of starvation have been going on and will go on as long as people live in those areas.

The real solution would be to send family planners, politicians, travel agents and any other useless specimens that plague mankind along with big cast iron pots to the starving people. Some tenderizing whips and seasoning salts would be included at cost. The starving people would soon figure out what the big cast iron pots were for and we could help them and ourselves.

Kumbaya, My Lord, Kumbaya...
