Kelkoo and Google biz.yahoo.com It was not a stretch to see the value in such a deal as stated here in December. Will Marchex succeed in developing a competing niche? One thing that Go2net never pursued was international exposure. Now...4 to 5 years later...The net has evolved to the point where it is not an OPTION to go international. It is where the MAJOR growth will come from in the future. Is a company like Marchex capable of such work?

I wrote about comparison shopping sites as being a great target for acquisition back in December. Message 19624114 It looks like Bambi Francisco has been reading my posts. marketwatch.com With Shopping.com getting 40% of their revenue from Google...It makes sense for MCHX to try to acquire a Nextag. Nextag could surely enhance ENHANCE'S revenue. Just look at Yahoo buying Kelkoo. Overture's NEW DISTRIBUTION PARTNER. The problem is that YHOO or ASKJ would have more firepower to acquire another shopping comparison site.
