Several rats on this list. Missing one obvious test company:
07:39 ET Possible Mad Cow detection plays : Bio Rad Labs (BIO) can be considered the largest possible beneficiary of any mad cow disease outbreak as the co is in the business of developing and selling prion disease tests that help identify it. Also a number of companies including Orchid BioSciences (ORCH), Paradigm Genetics (PDGM) and Serono SA (SRA) are developing advanced tests for earlier detection of mad cow disease and other animal and human brain disorders. Of note, SureBeam Corp (SURE) the provider of electronic irradiation systems and services for the food industry, is known to move on news of possible Mad Cow incidents; note that sure now trades on the Pink Sheets
