PS: been working on less PC/RC alternatives, but on such a short notice I cant suggest anything better than Luke did 2k years ago ;)

[edit] PPS: been watching Ben Hur on and off since the morning and am slowly getting red ears about the Xmas card. But, hey, it's a good message...

Hello BubbaFred,
Thank you kindly for your Xmas and New Year's greetings and good wishes. The same to you.
I wondered whether you are Canadian or not and that switched my thinking over to nationality and patriotism. I wondered from whom are we making the money when we sell puts on NEM which expire unused. I think it's from American patriots who think that the US dollar is better than gold. Similarly, patriotic Americans who respect their president will no doubt think that the current high price of oil/natural-gas is wrong and will shortly be corrected by restoration and expansion of Iraq's oil exports. So we can earn outsized profits from Canadian oil trusts, thanks to them.
To my amazement, people like G. Trudeau who does the Doonesbury cartoon are lone voices in a sea of patriotism.
Evidently, I think, with a strange mixture of pity and contentment, there's lots more money to be made on account of their blind trust.
