The richer you are, the more you can destroy.

The hills surrounding Rome were denuded of cedars in the days of the Caesars to build warships and palaces.

They never grew back.

Searle, Merry Christmas.

May I ask express one Christmas wish today?

Would you please refrain from knocking/panning/satirizing/disparaging for a mere 24 hours the great nation full of great people where I live, homeland to what I eat, geographically where I practice my gold craft, those with whom I work--reprobate and saint alike, AND the political and economic system in which I must work, simply by accident of birth??

I'll do the same re: So Africa.

No one is perfect, no nation is perfect, but TODAY is the day we honor the birth of the greatest Peacemaker and epitomy of Hope that ever oped a virgin's birth canal?

I'm appalled at the lack of even "enlightened" loyalty that pervades this thread from those who live withIN our lovely boundaries to one who does not. Your relentless attack and total negativity of a nation, and by extension her peoples, not your own is even more appalling.

Thank you in advance for a mere, respectful 24 hours at this time.
