SIRI up 9% today!! Hope you all were in for the ride. WHOO HOO!!

Can ANYONE explain why such a move might have occurred? There was a rehash of previously known news (about BMW) that amounts to at most 32K subs/year (actually, many fewer as XM Direct is likely get a cut of them). This certainly didn't warrant this kind of pop.

Insofar as the company clearly will severely miss its 330K sub target for the year (lucky to get 260-275K) and have blown $300M on this NFL deal that simply cannot pay off, what on earth could have caused SIRI shareholders to act like this?

Strange. But if it is the beginning of yet another runup to sub announcements/earnings, you guys may get lucky and be able to turn a profit over the next few weeks...

Hell ya BABY!

It could be headed for $3 soon. DARS is only going to get more popular and 2004 should see much more PRs. Been picking up some RFMI too.
