Jer, I currently have POG in a move up to the 420 plus area. It didn't quite break free Friday to show this, maybe Monday. There could be another move following that, to the 440 plus area.

HUI 'appears' to have started a long wave up that should head towards 280 area, maybe higher. A move above 244 would tend to confirm. It it doesn't do that on this first push I won't particularly like it.

But .. beyond that I'm becoming increasingly skeptical. I've remained patient and heavily involved in the HUI and NA gold stocks all year, but seriously considering a change in strategy, and/or a stronger than previously planned rotation over to South African golds. I'm not a strong believer of holding heavy weightings of foreign equities, other than NA.

Here is a decent article on the dollar, gold and other currency issues. The dollar imo has more down here, but is getting closer to an IT bottom.

gold-eagle.com

Maybe it is time for me to imitate trader Olson.

MRB (MR.to) may be ready to sail here. I'm loaded. It did very nice on Friday, but the volume was low. SVL.v is another silver I like. Silvers should imo come into their own here, soon.

220 JO? I thought 216 would be the failure?

as for the indexs, we are going much higher here after a
small much needed overbought pullback...

I'm beginning to feel like I'm the only one short at this
time...

I've read all sorts of reasons to be long here including a lot
of bullish FA but I still can't get myself to become a
believer when my charts are telling me that we are at or very
near the top.

I won't fight it though. If I'm wrong I'll pull the plug.
Because like Alan says, it's the stubborn part that gets ya...

Put me on record for getting shorter the qqq today.
