9.7% right, sorry about that. Even worse are the millions now losing wages and benefits. This is especially shocking as 1.5 trillion extra dollars are being pumped into the economy by Bush, but so far no jobs and lost wages and benefits. To add insult to injury the dollar is now down more than 31% against the Euro since Bush took office. The Bush trickle-down tax code and borrow-spend-spend-spend philosphy gradually starts turning the US into a third world nation economy, albiet a wealthy third world nation. The gulf between rich and poor is really going to be gaping if this continues, and the middleclass who drive the economy will not be able to afford to as they did in the 90's.
