stock bull,

re; On the surface this sounds just fine. However, you must determine the margins to see if this business is worth the effort

If it were not worth the effort, Dell would not do it, or very quickly pull the plug on that price.

Cheers

Larry,
Hi!!

RE: On the surface this sounds just fine. However, you must determine the margins to see if this business is worth the effort.

Larry, DELL has walked away from contracts that are NOT making them the margin they believe is in their best interest...Even if the contract is a blackeye for the competitor...That is Compaq may have wanted to keep a high profile account and DELL had them by the shorthairs...DELL was about to be awarded this new contract when CPQ decided to outbid DELL just to avoid the embarrassment of losing another large contract...So, DELL says: "fine, it's all yours"... :o) At a loss mind you...

Best, Kemble
