William / U.S. Investors

I don't believe any exist for US investors to invest into any type of Canadian securities.

To my knowledge, no US on-line brokerages will allow on-line trading in Canadian securities. One has to allow for a brokers assistance to make the trade.

Now, with that said - let me say that almost all Canadian companies are listed on the OTC Bulletin Board. I am not sure if that includes options. The problem is - the trading here is vastly illiquid.

That's all I can offer.

Try interactivebrokers.com

Their rates on trading stocks on TSE are not as good as trading stocks and options on american markets, but at least they allow you to trade Toronto and a number of other exchanges around the world..

Some larger Canadian companies are also listed on US exchanges and options are available. A good example is Inco (N).
