This is a departure from US policy. In 'nam there were counts that were often tampered with and politicized, but the attempt was made. In WWII there were immediate estimates of the dead, even in conflagrations in Dresden and Tokyo. These estimates were extremely important in knowing the damage to the enemy. Ok MSI.. do me a favor and try and think some of this through a bit using some logic rather irrational fear.. Exactly how would you expect the Allies to conduct a "body count" on Dresden and Tokyo right in the middle of the war?? Do you think we just held up our hands in a "time out" fashion, and both sides just walked over each other's territory counting bodies? Come on... body counts were hardly accurate.. They were based upon population estimates and degrees of damage conducted. This is the direction we're headed. Well thanks for the heads up.. I'm sure I'll be able to recognize it when we arrive... I might have been born yesterday, but believe me.. I stayed up all night studying.. Do me a favor.. drop the conspiracy theories unless you can provide documentation or credible links... If you can't, then please go elsewhere.. There's just no way we can honestly discuss people's worst nightmares and fears in a rational manner. I would suggest counseling.. Hawk
