The battle for Satellite Radio will not be with OEMs since both companies have strong partners and we can assume that consumer's who buy a GM or Ford/DaimlerChrylser have fairly homogenuous tastes.

Not that I don't agree with you, it is still way early in the game and the battle will be won on the Retail front. Both have Best Buy and Circuit City and both need to ensure that their product is on the shelves. XM has done a great job ensuring this whereas Sirius has not.

While XM is distributing their product through Walmart, I'm not so sure that Walmart will deliver the type of sales volume that a Best Buy or Circuit City.

Don't write 'em off yet.
