Phillips seems to be leaning ever more nobly with each successive book.

His own writing must be scaring him into a more urgent quest.

I see that the Barnes site calls him a "former" Republican, now independent.

It's encouraging to observe exposure to knowledge resulting in wisdom <g>

Phillips vs. Franken ..........

People can dismiss Al Franken as a disgruntled Saturday Night Live sort, but Kevin Phillips is a political intellectual of the highest order and a "former Republican."

I read part of Phillips' last book, Wealth and Democracy. Not bad. He's getting a handle on the roots of the serious class warfare pending out there. Hell, 25% of the populace is without health insurance now.

I just may have to read his upcoming book.

BushCo makes me puke.

One Democratic voter refuses to bite the dust. Happy New Year. It should be an interesting one. And how!
