Saddam's brand of terrorism is internal. They terrorized their own people to maintain their personal grip on the country. This is different from Osama and Co. who are terrorizing the countries of the world.

I have not seen the CNN report on the find of the Al Qaeda tapes. Given that it is true, bear in mind that Iraq's border is very porous since Saddam's departure. And Al Qaeda has entered Iraq in significant numbers.

Pakistan does have a nuclear bomb. But Pakistan is not considered a true Muslim country by people like Gaddafi etc. (they are non-Arab too). Pakistan has always rubbed noses with the West.
