LindyBill,
I have been irritated by Dean gaffes lately. However, I disagree with you (again !!! :-)) that he is the weakest among current democratic contenders to face music from Karl Rove. He has proven to be agile and smart so far and I see no reason why he will fail to do so in future. Where as other contenders, who do you think will be able to face Karl Rove ? Let us see....

Kerry - He could not blunt Howard Dean. Throw him out
Gephardt - He also could not blunt Dean. Plus focussing only in Iowa.
Clark - Maybe. I don't know enough but his ex bosses and colleagues do not like him. That will come into play within next few days
Lieberman - He is sore man. No realistic chance despite his last VP run
Edwards - he seems to be running fairly positive campaign. But probably too green to win the nomination.
Others - fugget about it.

Dean has been doing well so far because he has been breaking traditional rules and making his own with his brute force strength and also his gaffes had been helping him.
However I am tired of his gaffes and I hope he does not make any more of those. It is now begining to hurt him.

As far as Falwell goes, dish him the worst kind of mud that he deserves even if he does not ask for it.

These bloggers are really worried.

I know, it tickles me to death. The constant attacks aren't doing much good, very frustrating for the "pros" and demo operatives. They deserve to be frustrated, the way the dems have failed so miserably to make any principled opposition to the regimes in Washington. All they come up with are out of context sound bites, which don't carry much weight except among themselves.

If Dean succeeds, it'll change sound-bite "gotcha" media, at least for a while.

I read a lot of good Democratic Blogs every day, not just the far left ones

Which ones do you like?
