except that many folks differ with you that their criticism is intemperate (excessive). I think this is the crux of the confusion. You don't see that stuff I've been responding to as intemperate so you can't see what I posted as a mirror. Your comment, "Thought that a little goose/gander might interest you.", made it abundantly clear. Only if you look at it through your prism, your expectations, your distorted perception of my POV would it be "abundantly clear." You see, the thousands of chronicled instances of real liberal media bias establishes that this media bias is provably intemperate & our criticism of it is a rational response. Like I said, your prism. You're entitled to your opinion, your POV, your prism. But when you filter everything presented and asserted by me, one who doesn't share your particular world view, we fail to communicate and the world becomes even more polarized. I don't hate Bush. I don't hate the GOP. I'm not a liberal or a Democrat and I have no interest in putting your boyz down. What I hate is the polarization and nastiness that comes from blind or brainwashed or stubborn allegiance or whatever it is that causes people on both sides not to listen to others, never to give the benefit of the doubt, never to try to walk in someone else's mocassins. When I speak to this subject, that's my agenda. I couldn't care a whit whether the examples being used favor or disfavor your boyz. karen@cognitivedissonance.edu
