Foreign investors have a stake in the stability and growth of the US economy. They buy US securities because they are a solid addition to their portfolios, with no contemplated risk of default, and a reasonable return. People have been fretting the politicization of the bond market for some time, but so far, market considerations have maintained stability. I do not see that changing any time soon.........
