Robert, Talk about selecting certain scriptures, and even then, twisting them to fit a human mold, you should direct you comments to brian, and james. They are the ones that use this sham on a daily basis.

I love, and revere God, but have no reason to fear Him. What have you done, that has not been forgiven, that causes you to fear Him?

Good grief!! I was not aware that you were one of those preterists kooks like james, and brian. What ever respect I may have been ready to give you, has just gone down the drain. You might as well put me on ignore, as the other two, who are not able to support their views, because I will not stop railing against a false doctrine that throws the words of the Revelation of Jesus Christ as shown to the apostle John, back in the face of what Jesus disclosed to him.

It seems obvious that you wouldn't recognize the truth if it jumped up and bit you in the gluteous maximus. For you to believe in preterism, that makes you guilty of selecting passages of scripture and warping them to please your own, faulty, human desires.

It may be wise that you will not continue your, condescending, attempt to woo me to your fake doctrine, but you can count on my NOT going away.

Robert,

I hesitate doing this, but just consider one verse...

Romans 8:29
For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.

What did God foreknow about people? Why did he predestine the people he did? Why does the Bible reference so many verses referencing the free will to choose in belief? Can it be BOTH are true at the same time, salvation by predestination and also free will, and that's why the Bible clearly talks about both?

I understand for the people challenged to understand, for those without open hearts and minds, this would be an extremely hard concept to understand...

I probably should not have posted this (as I did it more for others who might want to understand), and will go no further with it...

God Bless,
IGIT
