You left off some big lie gov manipulations of public opinion:

The Battleship Maine: used to start the Spanish-American war. Blamed on Spain, actually an accident.

The Gulf of Tonkin Incident : A deliberate fabrication by Lyndon Johnson to kick off the war in Vietnam

Given history, it's actually more sensible to believe your government is lying to you. How many times has history proved that the government HAS lied to us? And these are just the lies we KNOW of - how many lies remain buried, classified beyond scrutiny?

Deeply suspicious? I read conclusive statements of outrageous schemes. Always these schemes are US government schemes. The US government has become the enemy in the minds that have been fleeced. Be careful what you wish for. There are no terrorists that would befriend you.

These forums provide us all with the bully pulpit to expound on our ideas. A great problem is at times our egos are so great we tend to interject ourselves into the scenarios. We are making the call. We need all the information. A great flaw in our needs is that we as a people cannot telegraph all of our information or reasons for seemingly less than just moves. Letting someone go after capture, support here as opposed to there etc. How can the public know everything? The terrorists are the public also.

The reason that many of us are deeply suspicious of the intentions of the Bushies is because of a history of "false flag" operations that were intended to redound to the furtherance of government goals.

"He who profits by villainy, has perpetrated it." --Seneca

Which, while typical of the simplistic and idiotic accusatory illogic you engage in because you lack actual evidence, is still idiotic and illogical.

Does the fact the a fire department gets their employment because fires occur in a city mean they set them all?

In brief, isn't it more reasonable to conclude that those who have the most to gain from purported terrorist acts are the ones perpetrating it?
Obviously. Clearly the Israelis are carrying out suicide bombings against themselves?

Ask yourself "cui bono?"
Cui bono? Ray Duray.
