Home from skiing. Drove down to Denver in 6 inches of snow in a huge Ford Excursion (makes a hummer look like my mini). Snow packed almost all the way to the airport, which was functioning normally, but very crowded.

Last day of skiing was a hoot. My 9 year old talked me into trick skis, which of course I had to try too. Couldn't have been 30 inches long. I could do 4 pirouettes in a row before I got dizzy and am very glad no one had a camera. Of course my kid was telling me I was using them wrong; that they were for jumps, not spins.

Skiing with a group of 7 we tried walkie-talkies for the first time. I thought they were a failure. Either too hard to get synchronized or too many people on the same channel. Reverted to cell phones which worked great all over the mountain. Glad we all had sprint with no roaming charges.

Happy New Year. When are you going out again?

This post cracked me up, the best laugh I've had in a long time. This was based on my 60% gain on my trade last week, but my techy friend miscalculated my potential fortune:
