"They were there to protect ourselves," And, of course, the US soldiers naturally would swipe the collection and toss the Korans. Hell, even the al Jazeera audience probably figures that's BS. But the Guardian swallowed it hook, line and sinker. These guys put themselves in the kitchen where it's hot and they're complaining about the heat.
